At the heart of the Airen line is Diamondback's Women Specific Enhanced Performance Geometry frame. Its sub-compact construction brings the dimensions of the frame inward producing the ideal fit for our female riders. This 'compactness' reduces frame weight by using less material and increases rigidity for greater control and responsiveness.The frame is made of fully butted 7005 alloy with a formed top tube and an integrated headtube with an integrated headset and a performance alloy fork with an alloy steerer tube. A light agile frame responds quicker inspiring confidence in control and giving you that extra burst to get-up-and-go. The 2016 Airen Sport is outfitted with more budget conscious components to create the perfect entry level road bike starting with a blend of Shimano components including Claris dual control shifters front and rear derailleur works well with the Shimano HG50 8 speed cassette. Stopping power comes courtesy of Tektro R312A dual pivot brakes and FSA gets a nod for the FSA Tempo Compact double crankset which sports a 50 and 34t chainring.
